I have finished another custom piece!! This one took me 2 months and a few days to complete. It is one of my most detailed pieces yet. For this piece, he wanted a New York City theme. NYC skyline, George Washington Bridge, rats, Taxi cars, pizza slice and a subway train car. I started with an 8x10 inch canvas, only to realize that I wasn't able to fit everything he wanted on it. I then upgraded to a 14x16 inch canvas.
Since I made the upgrade, I was able to fit what he wanted and then some. I would say the thing I struggled with the most was the bridge. I spent at least 3 plus hours sketching it. Bridges aren't my strong suit, but I accepted the challenge and the results are PERFECT!!!
Creating this piece has opened my artistic ability with detail and color combinations. I am so happy with how it turned out and cannot wait to create the next challenging piece!
